The Air-King is a niche Rolex collection beloved by those "in the know," originally created to honor Royal Air Force members during WWII. It captures the spirit of a classic Rolex with its time-only simplicity, iconic Oyster case, and dependable automatic movement. The reference 14010, produced in the 1990s through the early 2000s, is distinguished by its rare engine-turned bezel, a standout feature in Rolex's catalog. This example is a 14010M, which were produced after 2000 and upgraded the earlier calibre 3000 with the modern caliber 3130 (which is still in production today). With a 34mm diameter and a 43mm lug-to-lug span, it offers timeless wearability and a unique alternative to the more common Datejust or Oyster Perpetual models.
